Trade Shows

Trade shows are not just about turning up and hoping people visit your stand. Careful planning is required to make the most of these opportunities to meet potential customers.

You'll need to consider whether your business has the language capability to successfully exhibit at trade shows.

The RLN can help you prepare by providing advice on:

  • Translating materials to be used during the show.
  • Inviting people to the show.
  • Dealing with people on your stand.
  • Following up on your return from the show.

Trade Show Access Programme (TAP)

This UKTI initiative helps eligible businesses take part in overseas trade shows. If you are eligible, you could receive up to three grants of £1800 (for separate exhibitions) to help you acquire knowledge and experience of exhibiting effectively overseas, as part of your longer-term export strategy.
