Tourism Society Annual Conference: Making Emerging Markets Pay 19 - 20 June 2008

"According to the latest UNWTOWorld Tourism Barometer international tourism arrivals increased by 6% last year."

"Tourism is one of the largest industries in the UK, accounting for 3.5% of the UK economy and worth approximately £85 billion in 2005."

This year's Tourism Society conference will look at 'Making Emerging Markets Pay' from an international, national and regional perspective. Special sessions will cover 'Achieving the Olympic Opportunities' and 'Winning the Battle for Business Tourism'.

This event takes place on 19 and 20 June 2008 at the World of Glass, St Helens, Merseyside.
