Three weeks left to apply for International Business Awards 31.08.07

The East Midlands International Business Awards celebrate the achievements and contributions that companies engaged in international trade have made to the region's economy.

The awards are open to to any East Midlands company involved with exporting. Winners from each category will receive a unique piece of glass designed and created by internationally renowned Ingrid Pears, whose recent commissions included the Bollywood Awards. Winners will also receive a substantial cash prize.

Award categories:

• New Exporter Award
• International Business Communication Award - Company
• International Business Communication Award - Language Provider
• Established Export Award for the following sub categories:
  China (including mainland, Hong Kong & Taiwan), India and Worldwide.

The deadline for the receipt of applications is Friday 21 September.

Following the success of last years event, UK Trade & Investment will again be hosting the awards at the Marriott Hotel, Leicester. With a full range of entertainment and special guest speakers to compliment the cultural flavour of the awards this promises to be an evening not to be missed.
