Rotary club is going Deutsch 19.07.07
Young professionals are being offered the chance to visit Germany next year, courtesy of the Boston St Botolph Rotary Club.
The club is giving 25 to 40 year olds, with at least two years' experience in their chosen profession, the chance to take a four-week trip to study the German way of life.
The lucky travellers will also see how their job is carried out in Germany, and will get the chance to develop professional and personal relationships. It is all part of the Group Study Exchange programme of the Rotary Foundation of Rotary International.
Rotary makes the arrangements for the visit and pays all costs, except personal and incidental expenses, and also provides accommodation and travel to Germany. The club's president, Christine Carr, said:
"It offers team members a unique opportunity to experience and understand a different way of practising their profession.
"The programme is designed to have an invaluable impact on the career of a young professional in the increasingly global workspace by creating networking opportunities and lifelong friendships."
