Peter Harvey- The Language Business

Peter graduated from Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge, where he studied Natural Sciences and also acquired a Postgraduate Certificate in Education.
He joined The Language Business in 1992 after a career in the packaging industry. His work for multi-national organisations in this field involved extensive overseas travel and he has experience of using several European languages for business.
He is a director of The Language Business, an Ashbourne based training provider whose clients include PowerGen, Avis, KLM and Alton Towers. He teaches French to business learners; in addition he has some competence in Dutch and Spanish.
Peter is a governor at two schools near Ashbourne, Derbyshire and is also interested in the DfES initiative for the provision of foreign languages in primary schools.
In his spare time, Peter plays in the Derbyshire County Cricket league for Clifton CC, and is therefore to be found during the summer months dragging his ageing body around the cricket fields of Derbyshire!
